The reliance on tourism in Fort Lauderdale means that there is excellent provision of leisure and recreational services in the city, with a huge selection of nightclubs and restaurants, many interesting museums, and a rapidly developing downtown area. There is also an attractive beach, alongside which lies a State Park.
